Need more space for the kiddos and have 911s for fun factor / handling. I’ll miss the Turbo GT but the new Cayenne is so refined in the Algarve Blue I am excited.

Here’s the build:

Did you get a good trade-in price for your Turbo GT?

Nice!

Have you seen this colour in the flesh / metal as it is very dark - Cayenne ICE has had this colour for a while so there should be some available to look at?

The configurator does not render many of the colours particularly well.

Here's a link to a photo - https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB...?model=cayenne&exterior-color-groups=ext-blue

I find it odd to pick PCCB (questionably useful with that much regen) over Active Ride, given the lack of inherent comfort of tall SUVs over bumps. Especially with wheels which hide these big carbon discs and yellow calipers so much ?
Maybe they are standard.

On turbo in Swiss they are standard equipment

In the link to the build, they’re an extra $9780.

Just based on context (trading in a barely used $200k car for another $200k car), I don’t think the price matters that much to the OP. They may just like the look of the yellow calipers. 🤷‍♂️

Side note- the augmented reality heads up display (something they didn’t check the box for) looks really interesting. I’m curious if it just reflects off the windshield like normal HUD and how it works.

Congrats to your new to be car.
Very curious about your experience with it and if you will consider it worth the money!

Would be an interesting trade. I would recommend not getting the ceramics. Personally think it’s one of the dumbest things Porsche did. Since the brakes are never really used, be prepared to glide by a turn when it’s cold and wet.

+1 the PCCB on my Turbo S were horrible in the wet or especially after a car wash. Almost caused a crash once. Steel brakes for the new car. You can paint calipers yellow for a lot less than $10k if you so desire.
