Front tires on my 2020 4S(Michelin Sport Pilots 4S N spa) have been wearing out first, about twice as fast as the rears. So I have been changing them in rotation, fronts, then all 4. I use Pirelli winter tires November to April. Due to their soft compound, they are quieter than the Michelin summers.
I would love to find a very quiet all-season tire.

Even the fronts are way more expensive than you quoted. None of the N rated are stock items apparently.close to £2500 for front ant rear Michelin!!! Definitely not £1040!
Hmm, I should retrace my steps - perhaps they were 20" too..

£404 plus fitting per rear P4S and a bit less for each front.

Kwikfit pricing < £1600 is feasible.

How about the P Zero Elect - cheaper

Same here 😄
My first identical 4SCT was returned to Porsche after 8500 running on Goodyears with 4-5mm - the replacement on Pirelli’s 10000 miles and virtually shot. No noticeable difference

I just had my 2 fronts changed (at 7k miles due to damage to one) and my Porsche dealer ended up only bering £20 per tyre more than kwik fit. I decided to use them in case of issues with TPS, damaged wheels, jacking the car up properly. Also meant 90 mins in a nicer dealership with free decent coffee.

Cost was £798 for 2 x fronts, Pilot Sports.

Ref the original question, at 7k miles they were about half done, so I would have got another 6 or 7k out of them if not more (now the early days of playing with the power have passed)

So 13k out of 21in Michelin makes 11k ish out of soft Pirelli tyres on mine sounds ok!

Hmm. Just been out to measure the depth on mine. Michelin same set from new this time last year. 18k miles with plenty of motorway, but plenty of fun West Country back roads too. Still 5-6mm all round.
