Well it happened. Went to visit the Grand Canyon, and of course, this is where it happens. The damage seems mostly cosmetic as it happened at a stop light and it seems a hard love tap / side swipe. We'll see what the damage is (hopefully only cosmetic, not sure if ppf really helped here) and hopefully my insurance goes and negotiates with the other insurance on this matter. Then I'm guessing I'll have to do a loss of value claim, repair, new ppf and all the other headache that comes with that. On the plus side the sights have been gorgeous and driving to Sedona was equally captivating. Also, overall, the EA stations were honestly pretty reliable from Orange County all the way to the Grand Canyo.

Assuming no damage underneath the bumper cover, it is not too expensive to repair. I replaced a rear bumper cover a few years ago (no PPF) and the cost was $2,500. That was pre-inflation surge, so probably around $4K now.

I too had damage after being bumped into at trafic light. After repairs I did not check the repair and found out that the lid did not close anymore with the button and there was something loose around the spoiler. Took again a lot of time and effort. In other words check carefully ?.
