Taycan St length - boot open

Hi all

I'm currently looking at garage options for a Taycan coming in a couple of months. I'd really like to get away with a 6m long garage, but am concerned I won't be able to open the boot in that space. Anyone know how much space it needs at the rear to open the boot?

I checked my ST. Just for opening the hatch, 15 cm (6 inches) of free length behind the car is enough with some margin. To stand behind it when it is open, I would say 50 cm is nice, but that may vary by body dimensions and dexterity. A 6 m net length garage should be fine then, provided the front of the car is close to the wall or door.

Height may be a point. Fully open, i measured it at 201 cm. The hatch's stop position may be set below that, but space for full opening is safer.

Agreed, my garage is 6m long and there is plenty of room for the boot to open.
