So 48% has "zero reliabilities"?
That means the J1.2 is very unreliable.
Well, as a happy 2020 J1.1 owner I'm quite amused by that. 👍🏻

Now had a stuck charging port door (3x), a random yellow electrical error, a boot that stopped opening after it leaked, and a comms failure requiring hardware replacements. The first two resolved after a sleep.

But the J1.2 is still more reliable than my previous J1 which needed towing three times, set the alarm off unstoppably, and had lots of PCM crashes and bugs. It also has a flat 12v although that’snow been fixed (for both models) by a software patch.

It seems obvious that there are significant improvements on the critical weaknesses of J1.1:
- charger failures
- heater failures with catastrophic consequences
- battery module failures

If you take JD Power stats, no brand is below 140 problems per 100 new vehicles in initial quality studies.
There is always something. The only question is whether these issues are major or minor.

J1.1 has a bad reputation because of the severity of these issues, the proportion which required towing (and the time it took to fix them).

One year since delivery and worry-free ownership except for the active ride servo replaced under warranty. No other reliability issues, no notable glitches either other than the very occasional Android Auto brain fart. My only concern at this stage are water stains on the PPF.

I’m at 18-months and just got the dreaded 12v low problem. Still diagnosing, but drivers door and many sensors showing errors. I had to use the physical key to get the door open but fortunately car was able to come on and drive.
Im leaving it in my driveway with the frunk popped until I can narrow things down.
