The Silverstone Experience Centre left their cars at the normal use recommended pressures on the 3 days that I've had Taycans on the Silverstone International racetrack (which is roughly half of the full GP circuit). All (sometimes more than 1 in a day) were J1.1 Turbo or Turbo S CTs or STs on 21". I think that tyre temp/pressure management was made less of an issue by the car's thermal management drastically cutting power before managing even 10 miles of unrestricted performance- that was the showstopping constraint even over battery range.
I will at some point go back to see how much better the J1.2 manages.

i would definitely air down before going on the track. depends on ambient temps and how hard/long you're running, but i usually air down to around 36-37 psi cold (just enough to not trigger TPMS warnings) and keep an eye on it while on track, trying not to exceed 42-43 psi hot during a 20-25 min session.
