Tire Pressure Readings Wrong

I have a 4S and am having repeated troubles with tire pressure warnings. They say my tires are low on pressure but my check by accurate gauge shows that to be wrong and the pressures are right. Thoughts?

We have seen this happen a few times on the forum. The recommendation is to let the TPMS system go through the learning cycle by switching the tire type to a different type and then switching back. If this does not work, then there is something wrong with the TPMS sensors or the system itself. I have noticed that when tires are replaced or interfered with, usually by a non-Porsche shop, when doing wheel refinish (for example), TPMS sensors can get damaged and need to be replaced.

This happened to me recently and following the advice above resolved the issue. It started doing it after I had it in for service (nothing tire or wheel related). Not sure that had any thing to do with it but relearning the pressures by switching wheel size fixed it.
