To service/update or not to service/update?

I had an AC fix early on, and since then, the car has been relatively smooth sailing.

However, my Taycan is listed for the airbag AMC1 recall and the power AMB5 recall. Everytime I call service, they say it could take weeks. I've been waiting for them to figure out these recalls so that vehicles are not in the shop for weeks/months, but I never get the sense they have figured it out.

Am I playing with fire, and I should just take the car in ASAP? Or should I not worry about what's not "broken." Hope I didn't just jinx myself with this post...

I just brought my Taycan in last Thursday for the Airbag recall as well as some PCM issues. I got it back in a day. The appointment lag time was 2 weeks, only because I wanted a loaner. Call another dealer’s service department.

The AMB5 update took three days in my case and the AMC1 update less than two hours. No issues. Go for it.
