Track your Dream contradictions

Hi, I ordered my Taycan in May and got my Track your Dream and I started to follow it. It started with a delivery date of end of August, and moved perfectly to scheduled for production. Now suddenly the delivery date changed to end of September but the milestones keep moving with the original dates, I'm so confused, here are 2 screen shots from today, the contradict themselves. I feel like Porsche is messing with me and Im never gonna see this car.

I don’t see any contradiction. One screenshot says your car was scheduled for production (they assigned a firm date for building your car) and that milestone was reached on June 3. That’s great news as it means they should build your car whenever that production start date arrives. The 2nd screenshot is the configuration change freeze point that should happen on June 9. If you want to make any changes you’ll need to get them into the Porsche system before then.

I already passed the freeze point 2 weeks ago, went to scheduled for production, now it changed. If you notice the dates are backwards. Scheduled for production is 6/3 which passed but freeze point shows the 9th

Well it appears that Porsche decided to give you more time to change your configuration. TYD dates seem to shuffle around sometimes. I wouldn’t worry about it.

BTW, I completely understand how exciting and frustrating it can be waiting for your car. I hope it goes smoothly for you. If you ordered in May and get a car by Sept, you are way ahead of the game. Early on, TYD is simply providing estimates. The dates become more real as you get close to and into production.

Checking TYD on a daily basis is just asking for frustration. It’s gonna get to the dealer when it gets there. Why stress over something that you have zero control over?
