I believe the cable is free now.

Service covers more than Ionity - Osprey, ESB others. The only way to know is to use the Porsche Charging App which will list any and all that are contracted to Porsche. When you select one your Porsche Connect ID is authenticated and if you have a valid account then you can use.

Example below.

As W1NGE says...be aware Ionity (at least in Scotland) charges only for the power and not per minute. If using your Porsche card at Osprey sites, also charge per minute same as Porsche dealerships. Shameful that the dealers charge you more than Ionity. I know they are independent businesses but surely there should be some loyalty to those in the brand?

Thanks.

Still charging £370, at least on a CT4S

Sorry I thought you meant the public cable for untethered EVSEs (low power AC).

The car comes with all cables for home and mobile use. The standard EVSE to car cable is 4.5m long. A charge is made for the longer one.

Why do need another unless you need a longer EVSE to car cable?

Ah yes so it does. I'm not sure why it still lists as a £370 option when it is part of standard kit!

Spare and some people have more than 1 EVSE so rationale is sound.

Always wise to read the standard features before plodding through the configurator.

Agree fact is the Porsche charging network is nothing short of pathetic. Porsche south lakes new dealership opened 1 year ago still don’t have the chargers connected or didn’t a few weeks back. Hopeful Tesla will allow more access to the network. Very limited charging of any speed North of Manchester

Bonnet.

35p on PAYG reducing to 25p on a £50 / month sub (with rollover). Flat price across all networks in their portfolio (Ionity, Shell, Osprey, GeniePoint, ESB, Allego, Connected Kerb, etc)

Not sure how long their pricing will last, but this looks to be great value on the ultra fast networks especially.

Am i right in thinking the porsche chargers are only available when the centre is open? Was at lakes porsche recently and they were being set up but behind the bollards - its a great location on the M6 but they aren’t even open on Sunday so no use at the times i would likely be passing!

No idea about all of them, but certainly case for my closest one.

Depends on the dealership.

Many have placed the units behind barriers which are shut / raised when the Centre is closed. Others however have thought about it a bit more and have relocated the units.

The app should tell you details on access.

In Scotland some are available 24 x 7 and some aren't.
