UK order status and delays?

Don’t want to jinx anyone’s order but my Taycan ‘seems’ to have shipped and arrived at dealers with out any delays.

Ahhhh nice. I’m booked in at Silverstone end of Dec and hoping to be able to go in my Taycan.

I’ve had my VIN for a couple of weeks but nothing else yet. Does sound like yours is close.

I have been told my car is still on track and is in production. Due to finish on 17th Nov and in the UK by beginning of Dec. Fingers crossed it won't see any hold ups and I will get it this year. I have not yet received any pictures, but I do have the VIN in the MyPorsche app. Need to book the PEC, which I might do when it warms up a bit next year. Hopefully you and Jin and Hanny get your cars soon.

just reading the info on my Porsche for my vehicle specification, I can see that it shows electric steering column in there.. given its a 4S I wasn't expecting this to be on there...?

anyone have a recently delivered 4S with the electric column? (or more likely its a hangover from old on the list!)

Think it was always meant to be there but removed due to supply issues. It could have improved and they’re fitting them now?

I like your thinking. It will certainly give me some tips on how it drives on a slippery surface...and could be like driving on a skid pan....

I picked mine up on the 19th Oct, currently 1200 miles already on it.

oh and to confirm, I didn’t get power steering column (Sept build)

Glad to hear you have already picked it up Hanny. I trust that the last 3 weeks have been great fun...! I thought the power steering column would have been part of an option, although never seen it listed anywhere, so I'll treat it as a bonus if I got it.

You seem to have a grasp on your timescales so can I ask did you get production photos and where in the process did you get them? My car is meant to be production complete on Friday but not received them yet.

I went to Silverstone last Monday and its a great day , Very well run and great to get to know the cars capabilities , most of which you would never be able to safely replicate on the road

My CT4S was build complete on the 17th Oct. According to dealer it’s on track for Mid - End Nov collection. Given up on the production pics or app updates now. Just waiting for the call….

Had the call yesterday, car is being delivered to dealership over the weekend, ready for collection next week. I won’t manage to collect until the following weekend, but assuming I could have collected on Tuesday, that would be exactly 4 weeks from the point of build completion to collection. The app is still showing the car is at stage 2, so a little out of date. Also just under one year from the point of ordering to collection (assuming all goes to plan).

build complete 26/10 and was told on the 9/11 that it was at Emdem... for how long more who knows!
