I wonder if he had to wait 15 months before the airline would allow him to fly, only for travel to be delayed another 3 months because the engine wasn't ready. The agent at my dealer is on holiday!
I am sure they would. The latest date I was given a few weeks ago was 25 November, like many other people.Surely the sales manager or someone else would update you?
Can I ask how you know it arrived at Emden? Did your dealer pro-actively contact you, or did you have to chase? Or was it an email from Porsche GB?Quick follow up car arrived at Emden port yesterday with expected delivery to dealer in 2 weeks time. I really hope @f1eng has also received similar good news![]()
I’ve not even waited as long as you and I’m getting fed up. It’s the constantly changing timescales that get me, along with knowing the car is actually built. I could go grab another EV second hand any time, or even a brand new Polestar or i4 M50. Very frustratingI am sure they would. The latest date I was given a few weeks ago was 25 November, like many other people.
She emailed me to say no change before she went on holiday so I am still hoping it will be here then.
If not I’m tempted to cancel.
Dealer told me mine was at Emden and assuming batteries fitted, again dealer say collect before end of Nov so I’m assuming this is standard timing??Can I ask how you know it arrived at Emden? Did your dealer pro-actively contact you, or did you have to chase? Or was it an email from Porsche GB?
Did you get informed that the 12v battery had been fitted, or just that the car is at Emden and therefore conclude it must be fitted?
Where does the "2 weeks to dealer" come from? Off the dealer's system?
(Sorry for all the questions... trying to piece together where mine might be from what others are hearing about theirs!)
Dan I totally understand. It’s also madness that all new cars being built over past 6 weeks have the 12v battery and reaching customers ahead of cars built in the summer without the 12vMy car CT4S was completed on the 6th of September and delivery to the dealership was supposed to be today (11th Nov). The car did not arrive and the dealer has no further information. It’s waiting on the 12v battery. I have been waiting approximately 14 months from the initial order, honestly I don’t hold much hope for seeing it this side of xmas.
I must admit the whole process has been a farce and with the constant delays it really has killed the buzz somewhat. I can understand why some people would walk away.
So after I had seen the recent posts here I dropped an email to my contact at the dealership and he rang me about 5 mins later to say the tracking status had changed to show it had arrived at Emden on 10/11/2022 with an expected delivery to the dealer around the end of November (again this is on the tracking status only the dealer can access). Can I ask how you know it arrived at Emden? Did your dealer pro-actively contact you, or did you have to chase? Or was it an email from Porsche GB?

I just got a call from Porsche Reading. Exactly the same thing. 12v battery fitted and waiting on status to change to get a delivery date. It feels like we’re getting there finally ??Hi
Was informed yesterday by Porsche East London, that my CT4S made 25 July 22 - now fitted with 12V Battery.
Now waiting for more details on shippino.
March 2023? They have batteries now. The line is now running and cars are being built with batteries, on it. Other things may be short, but unless something else happens, batteries you should be ok for. This is what I'm terrified of.
I have a March build time with a April delivery date, I offered to go to Germany to pick it up and drive it across the border to avoid shipping costs and delays, and I got told absolutely not by Porsche GB and complete radio silence from Porsche DE. Worried it'll be a 2-3 month delay for a battery.
