Which dealer are you with? I was told mine had slipped to a completion of 6 April but was told last week physical build had commenced.

I think you will find that many dealers are in the dark as much as the customers- Porsche gmbh are not going to openly inform that their heater components supplier have screwed the pooch.

Guess Porsche are on damage limitation mode, their priority, as with ANY business, will be to their shareholders.

yeah get that Hanny, not the dealers fault, they want my cash as much as I want my Taycan !

I think they need to be better at communication and updates which would help soften the blow.

hi Chelsea9 - totally agree that better communication is key but I’m thinking that a lot of dealers are also complaining as they are loosing customers who cancel their orders and with the delays - it puts strain on the dealers income as the are independent from Porsche - thus wondering if Porsche is being economical with the truth to the dealers as well as the customer base?!

It still doesn’t address everyones frustration and am sure at some point will have an impact to future sales as will to the e-tron buyers and Audi.

It states 'your vehicle is now scheduled for production' this is what first alerted me to an issue.

My taycan ST was due at the dealer on March 17th but got stuck at Emden. Was told yesterday its now finally at Grimsby and should be with the dealer on Friday 14th.

All down to staff shortages at Emden apparently. I asked and the dealer about the heater issues everyone is talking about and they say the heater issue is predominantly affecting cars for the US now but who knows what's true.
All of the Taycans for JCT group are taking 3 weeks to get through Emden when it normally takes 4-5 days.

My car was supposed to arrive for delivery the 17th.

Sent an email to my SA on Thursday to confirm everything so I can get all the details sorted.

Went silent for a day, then tried to call me twice (missed as I was in a meeting), and only then I got the, "sorry I'm out of the office due to holiday" email.

Never left me a voice mail or answered my email asking for a confirmation.

Well now I'm worried.

I now have found my VIN and my build completion date of 2nd May looks to be firm, so I guess it will be going into build soon?
