A few days after I had the recalls done on my 2021 Taycan Turbo (13,800 mi), I was driving around town. As I started off from a stop, I felt a little hesitation and then a very slight surge. As I drove, I noticed the throttle was almost unresponsive. I floored the throttle and nothing happened. It just kept going at about 20 mph. It stayed that way until I stopped (soon thereafter), turned the car off, and got out for a couple of minutes. When I got back in and drove off, the throttle worked fine and has ever since.

Has anyone else had an issue like this? It is concerning as if it happened at the wrong time, like turning onto a road when a semi was approaching, it could be dangerous.

Thanks. Looks like the problem has not been entirely eliminated.

Reminds me an earlier issue many had (including myself) when the car would suddenly switch to neutral by it self at very slow speeds. The way it played out for many would feel like suddenly throttle becoming unresponsive until you realize the car is actually in neutral. (the first of the 2 times this happened to me, i never realized the car switched to neutral as the car was slowly rolling with a dead throttle pedal, so I turned it on and off everything was fixed, the second time it happened I was lucky to see the shift on the indicator and I simply put it back to drive). Having said that I believe the software updates were supposed to fix this issue. So not sure if what you had is the same problem.

I just experienced this Saturday morning; in Sport mode rolling up to traffic lights about to change at a roundabout, floored it and it splutters - actually felt like it was running out of petrol ?. It continued to be unresponsive to the throttle for the next few minutes when I arrived at my destination, parked up and powered off. Was perfectly fine when I got back into it later that day and has been fine since. So my guess is software...
