I saw a Fisker Ocean on the road like 1-2 months ago. It was missing a plastic trim piece over the wheel arch. Not like it was in an accident, it looked to have just fallen off.

I’m grateful the Taycan withstands these bitter cold temps we are having. Made several trips 50 mi+ in single digit F temps. The active ride makes a creaking sound at that cold, but everything except the PCM is holding together just fine.

I've driven it. It wasn't a bad driving car, power delivery was satisfactory, Pininfarina design, interior materials were not the best.

Overall impressive for a new OEM out of Vietnam. I'm not sure how they are still in business

I would lease one if the price is right and just Lemon it out eventually.
It severes it purpose for most people if it has that attractive leave program.

For a Macan and GV70 with the same pricing, which would be the better vehicle overall?
(I don't profess to know the answer, especially since I've never even been in a GV70, but I was favorably impressed by the marque from a short G70 test drive, except for the nearly unusable rear seat.)

The Macan is still significantly more expensive, especially when similarly equipped.

GV70 is a nice car, but I really wouldn’t consider the Macan a direct competitor.

It was a short term lease, 1 or 2 years. So at most, he's out $5000 for 2 years of use of a new car. So not too much of a gamble.

Makes sense. I can’t remember if it was this one or another similar car that was “lease only.”

Less risk for the manufacturer as well so that when it goes horribly wrong like it has, they can pack up shop and leave and not worry about servicing the cars for years to come.
