I don’t know :) I have a turbo and the thinner version. What is the wider version?

SportDesign Front Apron. An option on every version except GTS where it's standard. I subjectively think it looks worse.

Sport Design front was one of my wife’s few requirements.

She didn’t care about the battery size, or performance options, or interior leather.

But she said the front looks like it’s crying with the thin slits and this was completely unacceptable.

I think sport design looks slightly better. But not enough of a difference for the price. I’d skip it if it were just for me. But I don’t mind that it’s on our car either.

It's crying because she didn't pick the bigger battery!

In seriousness, I can see why she'd say that about the thinner slits – I've thought the same (the crying thing) – but I still think I prefer it. The price of the option is insane.

I had it on a loaner Taycan that I had for a week – and in Volcano Grey – the option really wasn't very noticeable.

I concur- with non-dark colour cars, the standard front creates the illusion of the car being lower than reality when viewed from the front. With the Sport Design option on lighter body colours, the illusion is broken and the Taycan looks almost as blunt as a Macan.
