Wheel & Tire protection / Sonsio

My dealer (in nyc) suggested buying the wheel and tire protection for my 4S (with mission e wheels) @ $3,675 (for 5 years). After he processed the payment I received an email saying it was from Sensio. I was under the impression it was the wheel and tire premier protection that Porsche sells. I asked the dealer, that I thought it was Porsche’s policy. I was then told

Porsche tire and wheel warranties are available, however they cost more than what I am offering to you with Sonsio they also have a deductible of $50 on tires for every time you come to our service. Also 8 times cosmetics and replacement of Wheels. On the other hand Sonsio is unlimited with no Deductible and would be honored anywhere you go (any Porsche Dealerships).

Anyone familiar with Sensio. What is the cost of the wheel & tire protection that Sensio and Porsche sells for the Taycan ? I had checked fidelity but it didn’t cover tires.

I'm not familiar with Sensio, but I'd assume the only reason a dealer would opt for using 3rd party coverage for Wheels/Tires is they are making more money off selling that product versus the Porsche insurance. Maybe it is my NJ childhood, but I'd have a hard time believing a NY dealer is doing me a favor

From this thread, it looks like it is about the same price, but that may well depend on the dealer. https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/wheel-tire-protection-plan.6133/page-4 It also looks like others have been offered the insurance from Sonsio as well. The BBB reviews are mixed and there aren't a lot of them 2/5 stars. Yelp is even worse with 1.5/5 stars. I found a new review site: https://sonsio.pissedconsumer.com/review.html

If your dealer is Porsche of Manhattan- then I would insist on them giving you the Porsche plan-
