When are new allocations released?

Yes, a GTS ST... And I literally just got my allocation an hour ago! ? Build March, delivery April.

Huge problem though: I am currently going through a process of shutting down everything and leaving the UK permanently by end of March. I will return 30-60 days a year.

I could go ahead with it, then keep the car in Europe, which is likely to be my main "base" for a max of 6 months. Does seem like a massive ball ache though.

And the car is delivered just as I fly out of the country ?

They've given me until COP today to make a decision.

The more I think about it, merely for logistics, I will probably have to cancel. Then look at buying again depending on where I settle.

Specially because most likely you'll be driving on the right side of the road instead of the wrong... I mean left side of it.

Ha that as well. I'm very comfortable driving on the right, but have never done it in a RHD car - and certainly not one as large as a Taycan!

I did pass up the allocation today, so will have a think. If I end up spending more time in Europe than the UK next few years, then it would also make sense to buy a lefty car (Taycan).

There was a round earlier this month. My SA even received a GTS ST that went to someone who placed an order demand a while back.

I’m looking to get a Taycan CT 4S. I’m the fourth on the list at Porsche San Diego where I live but first on the list at Porsche Newport Beach. I’m definitely not trying to pay anything but MSRP of course and was just curious about folks in similar situations waiting on their allocation fulfillments for this month.

I live in louisiana and i was lucky to have an allocation available as soon as i called my local dealer. Might be worth exploring porsche dealerships out in the middle of the country that may or may not have high demand for EVs. I even see a turbo on the lot at Porsche Shreveport

While the allocation situation is definitely improving, a lot of people from the US spent months, sometimes over a year, waiting for an allocation. I'm only mentioning it to set your expectations, limit disappointment if few months from now you still don't have an allocation. Also, if you are planning to replace your primary driver and don't have another car to drive, don't get rid of your current driver now in anticipation of getting a Taycan soon. If you are looking to increase your chances for an allocation, expand your search to dealers nationwide.

I know those guys over there pretty well but I appreciate it. I purchased my 2020 Taycan 4S through them back in the day and they were awesome. My only option is a CT if I want to stay happily married.
