Which exterior colour did you choose?

I really like gentian blue and cherry as colors, but I prefer how the front end details pop out in contrast to a light color. Hence I ordered just plain white for my CT4

Green is my favourite colour so I ordered Mamba green, second choice was a tie between frozen berry and cherry.
I wanted to avoid monochrome "colours" which rules out half of them!

Only on this forum would MG be in the lead! I’ve still yet to see another (Seattle) and people who see my car are always blown away. I came from a white Tesla so still getting used to the attention of a brighter car.

I will say - my girlfriend hated the idea of a green car until it actually arrived and saw that the MG is such a beautiful colour that really looks different depending on the light

I have a Mamba Green Taycan, and I live just outside of Seattle (eastside). And yes, everyone LOVES the color. I get a lot of comments on it! (And I love it, too!)

No better color than Frozen Blue. It’s very close to the classic Gulf Blue.

We’ve ordered a volcano grey Ct with Bordeaux leather. It’s also had the glacier matrix lights hopefully which I think make the volcano grey pop a little more (well from the images anyway)

Our other car on order is a carmine red GTS with carmine interior package so we we have both something subdued and something in your face ?

Over here 80+% is Volcano or Jet black. So very happy I went with Cherry Red. 20' Turbo Aero rims, chrome window surrounds and normal chrome type badge give accents on exterior. Chalk full leather interior, ambient lighting on red.

Like this because it was different, more colour, more stylish, more classy, less pure sporty.

Was on the floor at dealer who was going for copy of the 911 Targa 4S Heritage look. Turned out very nice.

Carrara white or regular?

White, carrara white, chalk, ice grey, are just shades of white. They all look good, except if you park them next to each other, carrara white looks the brightest, the other ones look like they need a wash .

Heh. I actually just switched my order color from carrara to chalk. Wanted something slightly sportier and unique (although ironically it's one of the most popular colors for this car according to the poll, my point being you don't see it that much outside of Porsche).

But you really can't choose a bad color for this car because it just looks so good. Even the frozen berry is nice, despite it obviously not being for everyone.

Wanted a light color on my CT after dark cars for a long time. Dolomite silver. Black window trim tinted windows. Pano roof. Black on sliver looks really good for me. I am colorblind so my decision is probably a bit different. Might have to start a new tread.

I think we do see these nowadays from other manufacturers, just going by a different name. Ice Grey for Porsche vs. Suzuka Grey for Audi for example, both are just a shade of white (not sure if they are identical, but without having the two cars next to each other, looks the same to me). Even Porsche calls their colors different names in different regions - chalk vs. crayon for example.

The trend I see a lot in the last couple of years is what I call "enamel pastel" colors. I remember couple of years ago seeing this new enamel looking grey color of a Dodge. Since I don't know Dodge color nomenclature I called it "JB Weld" color, and a number of people I talked to immediately knew what color I was referencing since it was very similar to the JB Weld epoxy in both color and texture. Personally I think the trend will be replaced by some new craze in a few years, but classic colors like white or black will remain popular. Just my humble opinion. The world would be boring if everyone liked the same color cars.

I give Porsche credit for offering the Taycan in so many colors… they are all so beautiful! Green is my favorite color, so had to go with mamba! It’s captivating and dynamic—you cannot take your eyes off it! Even in full sun, the hue changes around the curves of the car as you see below.

Can't help but notice no frozen berry fans here. Perhaps it's a color which predominantly appeals to a demographic which doesn't obsess about their cars online?
