Anyone has has this. Got an error message that the automatic braking function , headlight etc were not fonctioning and to clean the sensor. I had this before with snow / mud etc.

now however it was caused by fog inside the sensor behind the windshield.

only a short drive maybe just needs some more driving to resolve.

I pre heated the car for 30 minutes so it was nice and warm when I got there. Cold outside 3 degrees Celsius.

I also had some fogging up in the left headlight but apparently that just happens sometime.

Tip: During fall and winter, I always store a small moisture absorber hidden under a seat in my vehicles to reduce risk of damp inside the cabin. It helps in wet and cold conditions when the humidity is higher. Also make sure your floor mats are not wet during this season.

Fog in the headlamps however, is a known issue on the Taycan, during the same conditions mentioned above. That usually disappear while driving though, as the LED-lights do develope some heat (although nowhere near old incandescent bulbs), but often reappears after the car is parked.

Fogging headlights normal on all Porsches (there are vents).

Sensor will sort itself out so I'd just bash on.

I get that quite often too but so far it has cleared itself after a mile or two.
