Winter Tire Orientation

I'm swapping my 21" summer for 19" winter. Is there a left and right side? If you turn this photo upside down (swap L/R), it's the same tread pattern.

I understand there's an inside/outside. The tires came pre-mounted on the wheels. I'm asking if there's an R/L because each of the tires above could be mounted to L or R side.

There is a "Rotation" label and arrow on the outside of the tire. A Google search indicates your tire model is directional.

Taycan tires are different front and back, so presuming they've been mounted correctly. see if there is a ROTATION direction marked on the outside of the tire, and if so, it indicated the direction the wheel is turning when the car is going forward. I have winter, all-season, and summer wheels with tires for my Taycan, only the winter tires (Goodyear) are directional (the tread is in a V shape) so there is only one place each wheel can be installed. The all seasons (Continental) and summer (Michelin) are unidirectional.

I’ve looked for over an hour and both inside and outside sidewalls lack any rotation arrow or indicator. That’s what has me so confused. I thought this would be a straightforward OEM process, especially with these somewhat directional wheels.

I used this site to look at the details of the outer side wall of the tire and it doesn't appear to have any directional arrows. This means that the tire is multi-directional so you should be able to put it on any side of the axle. I think you're good to go.

Just give you a reference of a directional tire, this is my snow tire, and if you zoom in at the 9:00 position on the picture you'll see the rotational direction indicator pointing down. It should be very clear if you have this indicator on the outer side wall.

Does that mean you have 12 wheels and 12 tires? Have you noticed the thread issues that some folks have seen?

Yep, 12 wheels, 12 tires. Overkill perhaps, but I like to know I have optimum traction for the weather.

I haven't noticed major tread wear issues, though after a road trip with majority on highways doing some spirited driving in Sport+ I can definitely see the inside edges with some extra wear. It doesn't worry me too much though as with 3 sets of tires though, my tires will likely age out before the tread is worn out.
