Hello

I got a 22 plate Taycan which I owned for 6 months now. The car drives beautifully.

However - I seem to have some electrical bugs and one that seems to be sticking.

1) I had brake pad warning come and go come and go for past 2 months. It’s had its MOT and been to another garage who say the pads and disc all look fresh and nowhere near the limit. It does go away so I’m not too worried.

2) I occasionally, when I start the car I get a yellow ABS/Suspension/a whole load of other things error. Car drives fine. Probably happens once a week. But importantly it Goes away after restarting car.

3) Occasionally, I am driving down a road. No warning lights. But then I get a sudden kickback. And the same bunch of lights (yellow) as above comes on. Again, after he kick, the car drives fine. And goes away after restarting. Maybe once every 2 weeks or so. So infrequent.

4) More recently, since last week, I have a permanent yellow electric error light. Car drives fine. But restarting doesn’t make the light go away.

Is my car dying here? I seen loads of threads about yellow warning lights. But they all seem to go away after restart. Which mine did also until number 4 above. I also seen a red warning light bricking cars. But mine isn’t red thankfully.

Am I done for? 35k on clock if it helps…

Thanks

There are (optional) updates that Techs can apply that may fix some of these things. Go to your dealer service people and ask them to check. (My 2021 had had ALL normal updates applied but still had problems; dealer found and applied some optional updates that helped).

That having been said, you have to consider that you are driving a BETA and may continue to see issues like this (I did and finally gave up).

A BETA? Come on, a bit dramatic no? lol. All cars have issues, my previous Defenders had some problems. OP what can probably help us help you is to get the full error codes list from one of the many tools that can do this for you. Then post that either here or in the other threads.

You need to photograph all of the errors then take them to a dealer and go through them. Otherwise they are a bit vague

landrovers consistently rank very low for reliability...in some ways they may be worse than a BETA

Land Rover Range Rover Reliability - 2026 Ratings | RepairPal

I've owned a fair number of Porsches and owned my Taycan for 5+ years.....NEVER had a Porsche with so many niggling issues (and poor service from understaffed dealers (e-rated Techs)).

It absolutely was a BETA IMHO.
