MY25 RWD, had yellow electrical fault show the day after charging to 100% for the first and only time. The message cleared after restart and has never returned. I have only ever charged to 85% prior to and after this event. Booked for a dealer check shortly. Is it necessary to charge to 100% every so often for the battery management system to recalibrate? Any thoughts on likely cause for error message? TIA

I got this for the first time myself on Monday after doing a 99% charge (which I don’t do often, but now and then need the range.)

My working theory is that it’s the new battery monitoring software update, and it may have found a battery problem.

I’m planning to try again and see what I get.

I also got this last week, but it was not after charging different from normal. In fact car was around 70%. Shut it off and restarted and it resolved. Has not come back. This was the first time I have seen this message. No working theory...

I charged to 100% again and this time got no error.

I don’t know what to think.

You guys need to get cell health graphs via OBD/CarScanner. The message is there for a reason as the car is detecting that some cells are starting to go bad. I check my SoH and cell health graphs every 1k miles. Cells that go bad will be shown as outliers in SoC, Temp, and Voltage from other cells and they only come forward when you charge to 100%. I think that doing these checks now should be a given knowing ARB6 and ARB7 campaigns are open.

Thank you for the suggestion. Do you charge to 100% then every 1000 miles or so and then check the battery with a scanner once it has had a chance to settle after charging? I checked mine at about 50% SoC and all looked balanced and normal. Any help on testing protocol is appreciated.
