PCM Issues

Hey There!

Has anyone had any PCM issues where everytime you get in the car the PCM is in set up mode. At first I thought it was a glitch, I tried to log in and my name was greyed out. Then I called PCNA, they were of no help. They had me reset the PCM and now my name is no longer anywhere, the PCM will not allow me to log in and ..............It's in Private mode! They said they would put a ticket in. ? Is there a fix? Am I missing something? I scheduled an appointment with the dealership but if there is a way that I can fix it, I would like to.

Have the same issue, it cleared itself after about a day+. I notified PCNA and sent them a video. I have so many PCM issues and faults occurring at different times, then may disappear, or my PCM tends to reset or change settings all on its own. It's crazy, they have already replaced my control unit with no fix.

What a nightmare! I love this car but I have had more issues than I can count.

I had that kind of glitch when I took the car and had the two keys with me.

Two keys definitely can cause a problem in my experience...designate one as your primary and keep the other one away as much as possible!

Thanks for the reply! You may have inadvertantly helped me. I grabbed my second key, left the other one inside, got in my car and the PCM works just fine now. So it is an issue with the key itself. Problem solved!

Ok. What I noticed it's if you interrupt the setup phase at the first connection with the key, you have also that kind of problem. So if you take the key with which you have the problem, remove your profile from the car and redo the whole pairing it could work.

Hope things work for you. In my case there were no duplicate keys used or in the area, but still occurred.
