Taycan eligible for 10% discount EZ-Pass in NY (and PA)

Altho they do not make it easy, I just got a GREEN EZ-Pass that makes my Taycan eligible for 10% discount. Some info here: https://www.thruway.ny.gov/ezpass/greentag.html need to file a new E-ZPass application and specify GREEN as a Plan Code (under Optional Discount Plans). Because the Taycan is not yet on the eligible vehicles list (bureaucracy!)..I sent them California ZEV certification and EPA MPGe data...somewhat surprisingly they accepted that and gave me the GREEN tag !

NJ also offers an EZ Pass discount for BEVs, plus access to the HOV lanes.

Thanks. FYI I believe this is only for upstate and Westchester Thruway facilities. Not for NYC or NJ tolls.

specifics were lacking in the paperwork so I am not sure. Paperwork DID specify Pennsylvania which was a pleasant surprise.

NJ adds a $1 per month service charge, not noticed by those who live there but for people who live out of the region it is an annoying fee. living in FLA I use a PA turnpike tag.
FWIW: the EZ Pass is now accepted on the FLA toll roads found around Orlando, Tampa and Miami

on the NY website it states that the criteria for the car being accepted is the CA standard so I assume that sending them the CA listing for the Taycan would suffice.
