Journey is finally over. Just drove home with my 4S about an hour ago. Best of luck to everyone still waiting.

Hope you are loving it. Just got notice from my dealer that delivery expected tomorrow.

Just got this message from my SA. Was susposed to pick up CT4 today. But not going to happen:
"Well, it wont be ready today. Our tester hasn’t been updated from Porsche yet for the 22 Taycan CT so it wont recognize the car for Wayne to do the PDI. They worked on it yesterday and it cant be updated until Monday at the earliest.

I am scheduled to pick up my MY22 CT4 Saturday, 13-Nov. The techs had some issues getting it out of transportation mode, but I got a call late today saying that the car was ready to pickup tomorrow. So whatever your dealer needs to finish prepping your car must be specific to that dealership.

Still today showing “on vessel” on TYD for my car heading for south Florida dealer, while Mediterranean Highway left Jacksonville 11/10. Anyone in south Florida had their car arrive at dealer yet?

Honestly I not sure anymore… will not believe until its gets delivered. The car has been cleared, loaded and just sitting there for career driver to show up and bring it here. No movement from past 1 week.

Finally.... My SA just informed that the truck has left this morning and car should be here (Chicago) by EOD Wednesday, hopefully I can pick it up on Friday

Happy to report, I took delivery on Saturday. Other than Porsche Connect issues, the car is exceeding expectations so far.

I noticed few other reported about porsche connect issues on 22 models… how major is that? Any major inconvenience for daily use? Don’t know if MY22 will have the same issue.. If does, not sure if I should take delivery.

It's annoying, not critical. Am driving my MY22 in guest mode, which is affecting my ability to use the Porsche Connect app to access it remotely as well as my ability to save some of the settings. OTA not active yet. Also can't access all of the "extra" apps like direct Apple Music integration. Holding off on connecting to HomeLink, so I don't have to do it again. Having said that, I don't regret taking delivery of it by any stretch of the imagination. If your car experiences the same issue, it should become evident at delivery when the dealer asks you to login to the car. But, again, I wouldn't have given up the last two days with it and PCNA is working with me on it now. Believe it should be resolved in 5 business days.

What did you need to do with your Porsche account prior to picking it up?
Did you add your car to your account by providing the VIN and ownership info?

I just want to be prepared when I pick mine up.

I had the car registered (prob using my order number or a link they sent when I ordered it) on the My Porsche web portal / my account for the past few weeks, so I could track it. However, I only input the VIN, etc. into the Porsche Connect app at delivery. That's the point at which we also tried to log into the car and failed. So beyond registering with and tracking the car via TYD, I did nothing else to setup or register the car on my accounts prior to dealer arrival.

Hmmm, I wonder if submitting the VIN and ownership info earlier would have helped. For instance, I have the VIN but the system requires me to provide proof of ownership and ID. I get the impression that it's manually vetted and approved. If that's the case doing it on the spot would not generate an instant approval which could be why it's not working.

But then the dealer probably would have known that so maybe not...
