Just to let you know I went ahead and got a 3 month plan with Maritime Optima as liked their setup a lot and basically its just ca $48 (ca. 1-2 bottles of wine depending on your poison ) - arguably only relevant for the 2 weeks+ left until Conductor gets to Houston but works for me - thx again for reminding me of the site

Well after a lengthy and entirely pointless and unresolved discussion with a "support" tech based in Norway, I cannot AT ALL recommend Maritime Optima as a paid service - unbelievably ignorant individual basically trying to tell me that data from MarineTraffic and Fleetmon are apparently incorrect despite frequent trackable AIS updates shared real time with them whilst they (Optima) had the SFL Conductor completely static map view for now nearly an hour and a half without a positional update!! The boat had literally moved 25 km+ from that position.

Mind numbing experience - perhaps just bad luck re that specific tech but the attitude after paying for the 3 month service up front is beyond belief. Needless to say I'll be cancelling as soon as I sort though the nonsense shared. Moving on !

Any idea as to when TYD generally catches up to your current status as my info is still showing as arrived at Emden.

With the RCC Prestige heading towards the channel, after two days of loading, I’m hoping that my car finally made it onboard.

Seems to be consistently inconsistent

My car actually tracked in TYD in near real time in respect when produced at factory, transported to Emden and when onboard the SFL Conductor - and expected Port Processing date looks rock solid too bizarrely - now don't get me wrong, prior to this there were all sorts of misinformation being shared but what do you do - track the boat instead I guess!

Ok, @TaycanCook . If you are taking delivery in NYC, your Taycan will most likely be delivered to Davisville port near Kingstown RI. You have just a couple months to learn all about Porsche facilities at Davisville port. For example, Porsche's contractor at Davisville . And, watch for RORO vehicle transport vessels docking and departing from Emden port at marinetraffic site .
And, learn how to find out if your car has "open campaigns" and "stopped sales".
Get busy, April will be here before you know it.

Approaching the bay entry to Halifax - current rolling ETA estimate is still close to my early guesstimate of midnight tonight +/- 2hrs Nov 26 at 23:00 and quite a lot earlier than forecast by PWL - in any case it will be there very early morning at latest Nov 27.

I am actually taking delivery in Annapolis (where I could find an allocation). I expect that it'll be coming through Baltimore and with all this mention of Baltimore, it's just ever more engaging. I've already familiarized myself with all the wonderful acronyms, PDI, RORO, AMC1, TYD, etc. For the time being, ???.

Hmmm - may have spoken too soon as the Conductor has come to a stop! Perhaps dock not ready for her (despite no other ships at port facility!)?

Dock can be empty, but if ground crew is not there, the ship can't dock. Could also be an issue with tug or pilot availablity. Hopefully it's allowed to dock in the morning.

The Build Back Better bill, which passed US House, does repeal the current EV tax credit (Internal Revenue Code section 30D), and replaces it with a new tax credit, which caps MSRP. But if that replacement provision is not enacted by Congress, the current tax credit in section 30D remains in force, until it is repealed. if we take delivery in December we still get the tax credit right? This becomes an issue if we are delayed til January?
