Ionity Charging - how to use Porsche Card?

Hasn’t been explained to me by my dealer but just tried to charge at ionity, could charge ok but absolutely no idea to get the taycan discount?
Any help appreciated. Also only getting 60kw which seems pretty terrible ?

Yeah, literally nothing happened. Card also came in the post before the car did.

Mine works sometimes and others it won’t. It’s an Ionity issue rather than the card, usually. Use the Porsche Charging Service App which is linked to your profile and card to activate charger in this case.

The charger worked, but I couldn’t get the card to activate, I looked like a bit of a moron trying to swipe a card against the ionity charger not knowing if it was what I was supposed to do ?‍

I tried about 15 IONITY stations (CH and ITA mostly) multiple times and they all worked fine with the card. Make sure your "Porsche Charging service" is activated (as below here) under "myporsche" web portal (under "my connect serviced").

When you are at Ionity, first connect the charging cable. Then sometimes you need to select the RFID card option on the station touchscreen. You will then need to place for a couple of seconds the Porsche Charging card against a specific grey metal square under the touchscreen (you don't need to swipe it). If you place the card somewhere else (e.g. on the touchscreen or other metal surfaces) it will likely not detect it. If it still fails give a shout to the Connect Contact center - they are mostly useless but they might at least be able to tell you if your card is activated on their end.
