So yesterday it starting up again and we noticed that the Climate control activated everytime we got the message on the phone it said CLimate started. ... The Climate has a new logo on the dash now that it didnt have before
That is the cabin preheating/precooling icon. There is a PCM setting that enables an automatic 5 minute preheat/precool after you unlock it, and you'll get the notification once it's done. As far as I know it's not related to the alarm issue.

I have been double clicking the locking for quite some time now, in order to keep the neighbors (relatively) happy. I had a couple incidents when the alarm went off for no reason, naturally in the middle of the night, before I took up the double click. It has worked, as I have had no complaints after taking up this easy but slightly annoying practice.

I know at least some alarm problems have existed irrespective of the phone app(s) or other remote service use, but quite a lot of posts here have revolved around guesswork that at least some alarms might have to do with apps and/or car connectivity to remote functions.

I've already switched from Connect app to My Porsche app in the mean time. Now yesterday the My Porsche app received most extensive update in my use, affecting some connectivity and charging functionalities. (Also there has been a press release confirming what has been the talk: My Porsche app is the one that will be left standing and other Porsche apps will be faded away)

Could other users that have an updated My Porsche now also venture to give a go to dropping the double click, and see if these updates had some sort of an effect to the alarms problem?
I have installeer the my Porsche app and today the alarm went off 6 times after each other . so Problem not solved. shame on porsche. You buy a very exclusive expensive car and they can not solve this issue which is known for over a year. Maybe the new presented update has solved the issue but I don’t think we are going to receive this update for free…

All,
As I said in my first post back September it is the app and it’s relation to the interior alarm. When i got my car back in September I noticed the same correlation between alarm and AC/climate control being trigger. Good news is I just got on the list for the new sensor.
Thanks to my service adviser at Porsche of Irvine (CA)
I was able to stop over and check a code to tell if I have one of the faulty sensors (and of course I did) and now ordered the new replacement sensors..just waiting for call from dealer to have them swapped out and finally put this alarm issue to bed. I might even re-install the app again
(though still pretty worthless).

Trying to keep up with this issue but I don’t think I’ve seen a cutoff in terms of build date. Anyone know about that? Delivery in 2 weeks

Its been reported by some owners that even after the dealer has swapped the sensor, they still have issues. Please report back to confirm this is a real fix.

1 week until my car goes in for this fix which is being communicated as such from head office in Germany. I know how to reliably replicate the alarm issue so will revert with as much info as I can.

My dealer said that it is the official fix from Porsche. They swapped the sensors, and no faulty alarms after that.

Just took to my dealer over this issue. Alarm won’t stop going off. I’m honestly getting fed up with this car. Recall after recall and now this. Probably going to get rid of it.

Neither of the workarounds working for you (disable interior sensor or don't use app)? I haven't had the issue since doing this - however, still awaiting the official fix as I don't find either of these acceptable long term.
