Hi

I have the possibility to buy a 4S in this config. Model year 2020 (10/2020).
with about 10K kilometers.

PN5PJZQ7

For 119K.

is this a good offer? What do you think?
Doesn’t have a surround camera. No sports chrono pack.
Given the fact that Porsche halted production.

If it has the options you want and compares with other cars for sale, go for it.

If not, don't. Irrespective of the current delay situation..

These are still cars costing over 100k, which isn't a trivial sum on a car.

That said, they're holding value quite well. And that situation is likely to continue. If you have an order in for a new one, you might be able to buy this and then sell when the new one is ready without getting too badly rinsed :)

But I wouldn't buy a "keeper" at this price level without it being the spec I wanted.

I would say look at what you want and see how much of the car matches what you want. Seems well equipped, but for example if you have a tight parking spot, surround may help a lot. I am glad I waited and got exactly the color/options I wanted, but I understand that you may not be able to wait! Good luck!

I voted No.
For 119k€, I want my car, I mean my configuration exactly…., if you are OK with the car as it is…go for it….but only in case that you’d specs exactly the same.

If you really want it, be patient and order what you want. You will have it in 10-12 months

Could you post the configuration. Can’t seem to open it with the code on my phone.
Anyway. Like mentioned by B61. For me 120 k is to much to not get exactly what I want. Don’t be pressured by a temporary production stop. Unless you are happy with the options and have a really good deal. But judging the Porsche approved offers on the Belgian site I wonder if you will get a good deal. They almost go for the new price.

Agree re other's comments but would perhaps also add that I'd like to see a full service history if there is one as this is a 2020 model which we know could potentially have had quite a few mech/tech issues (regardless of the 10K km on the odo.)!

For that kind of money I would love to get exactly what I want / need...
And it's already 2 MY behind on tweaks like the PCM version etc...

So I voted no and personally am still playing the waiting game to get exactly what I want.
But hey that's just my opinion. If you have 119k burning in your pocket and you want the car NOW go for it!

Halting production is not equal to STOPPED the production of the model.

It all comes down to the spec. If it’s the spec that you want, I say go for it. It’s still under warranty. It’s a two year old EV, there should be little to no service history aside from bulletins and applicable recalls.

If the pandemic taught us anything, life is short.

I wouldn’t. Mainly because:
- 2020 model, more prone to serious faults (battery pack, 12V…)
- It’s expensive. You’d be buying used at the peak of the hype, it will fall at some point (say couple of years) and being a 4S with a couple of missing bits as you said (sports chrono) it won’t help
- It might not be what you really want. And you’ll keep looking at others which isn’t a great feeling having spent that kind of money
- It’s a sedan and I’d need the CT slightly better practicality
- To my taste, gentian over beige is a bit too classic for a Taycan

That said, you might want it because:
- It has most of the key things: 21 wheels, consensual colours, PB+, pan roof, 4+1 seating… it’s not loaded, but clearly good enough
- You can’t / won’t wait for a year + for a new one. Or you buy it, order a new one and flog this one in p/x when the new car arrives.
- If things keep going wrong in the world in general and in the meantime the barrel hits 500$, you could be selling it in a year or so for not much less than what it’s worth today.
- Sedan body is what you need

As they say, "the devil is in the details".
I would have bought a previously owned 4S instead of the Taycan RWD if I had been able to find one with the equipment I wanted. In the end, I ended up waiting around 6 months for my car to be delivered. I was able to wait since I have a 'spare' car (my Tesla Y).
