Actually, I wish Porsche would warn me less. I’m tired of clicking through the message every time I go to the configurator. If they don’t stop, I’ll have no choice but to continue dealing with it.
In my case, because I bought the car, had a myriad of problems, and was researching how widespread those problems are.
Then why buy a Porsche in the first place? I'm not criticizing, just genuinely curious. They have always been known for "quirks" and most people I know who own Porsches put up with them because they are passionate about driving and are willing to put up with the quirks because of the driving experience. There are lots of cars out there, much less expensive, and quirky, that are comfortable and perfectly adequate to get from point A to B.
Fair point on the searching of information related to issues - its a cornerstone of most forums.

I have to pile on here also. Why on earth would anyone spend so much money on something they aren’t passionate about?
Ipace had an uncomfortable driving position (and it was awkward getting in and out of the car).

I couldn’t get my seat comfy for journeys any longer than 60 mins in my iPace for about half the time I had it. Met my now partner, she realised I’d got the basics so wrong (and there I was fiddling with the x billion adjustment options..) that she sorted it in one, er, sitting. Comfy as could be after that. I’ll be getting her view on my Taycan posture too. Surprised you had issues getting in and out though, nobody commented on that with mine and I didn’t have it set to auto lower to park either.
