Dear fellow Taycan owners,

With reference to my previous posts herewith a video of the final result (full nappa interior with contrasting stitching). Appreciate your feedback !

Cheers,

Pieter

Not sure what the previous post was, but this looks great! Was it all aftermarket? How long did it take, what work was done, and how much did it set you back?

Hey, thanks a lot !

It was done by a Porsche approved upholsterer (only 1 in The Netherlands), took about 2,5 weeks and the entire interior was swapped (went from lowest grade standard leatherette interior to highest grade Porsche nappa leather covering everything including dashboard, all door panels etc. with Exclusive Manufaktur contrasting stitching.

Cost about USD 13K which is considerable but about the same amount which it would have cost me if I would have specced it this way ex factory.

It seems like a massive project. I can't believe they were able to wrap the plastic trim - I thought those had to be swapped out if you want to change them, but man, it looks fantastic!!! I've been in the base taycan and wasn't a fan of the upholstery feel so this is an absolute awesome upgrade . Congratulations and hope you enjoy this for a very long time!

Sorry if you covered this in some other thread but I have so many questions:
How is the quality of the re-assembly? Do you notice gaps or hear creaking that wasn't there before? or maybe even do you notice the interior being more quiet than what you started with?
Are there any panels you specifically like or dislike how they turned out? How is the leather quality/blemishes/cut compared to factory?

I honestly really like that some stitches are slightly imperfect (not line-straight). It gives a bespoke vibe and makes it more special

Thanks for your kind words, Sir !

Quality of re-assembly is incredible (again, the upholsterer (Cools bekledingen) is preferred supplier for Porsche Netherlands and the dealerships even sometimes deliver their cars straight to Cools to be redone, so you would not expect it to be anything less than perfect). If anything, indeed the interior feels more quiet than before. Leather quality is amazing (original Porsche nappa leather) and has a way better look and feel than the partial leather that was fitted ex factory.

Totally feel you on the slightly imperfect stitching comment and the bespoke vibe that it brings. The other day, I sat in friend's Taycan with standard leather and although well executed, it felt downright boring !

Hi! I looks beautiful. Is this about the same quality are the 'Olea Club" leather interior offered in the US? Olea Club is the highest quality offered here. I think it goes

Base=Letherette
Leather == lower quality leather?
Olea Club == highest quality leather, I assume it's napa leather.

I'd love your input or anyone else who got the Olea Club in the US. I got the in my GTS which I think is on order.

Thanks!
