Retrofit Interior Design Package

Hey guys, wanting to retrofit the light design package on the Taycan since mine doesn't have it selected. Does anyone know if this is possible and where to buy the kits? I prefer OEM.

I looked at the difference between standard and ambient lighting and the retrofit will require you to research the additional lighting parts, and then either install it yourself or have a 3rd party shop perform the install. The more challenging part of this will also be to code/program the lights and to find exactly all the additional parts you'll need to buy. I believe the light package has user configurable settings and dynamic features (with music), so it's not as simple as installing a few LED lights.


Unrelated I recently retrofitted this exterior and bumper set, and everything from parts research to acquisition to install was a PITA and this didn't require coding/programming.

Start with checking part number for door panels, if they are same with/without led lights. They seem to be most expensive parts if needed to be replaced. Find option code for this package and then check against in in parts catalogue

PS: But IMO it might be too difficult to do it all right, since it will involve a ton of new wires
