Any updates as to how long Zuffenhausen will be closed?
I think some reports until end of this week at least. My dealer keeps telling me there is no official info from Porsche that it's closed. Maybe it's not closed but only running at a minimum, doing what's possible.

Great. Just had a call from my dealer. The code changed from production finished and out of factory to something else. New end of production April 7th.
Last week they confirmed by mail it came out of factory March 8th. I was waiting for my car to arrive in Belgium assuming it was already on a truck.

i was lookingat the possibility of swapping my order for a new on stock vehicle but that’s also a mess.

I had advice that my car would be built March 8th and last week they called me to confirm that the factory had rescheduled for April 8. So similar timing

Did production restart as advertised?
Well, we have really no official statement. The best we have was a statement that says no production through at LEAST end of this week. Best case scenario, it would be starting up again next week.

That said, I am not expecting that. My car started production 2/28 so it is probably sitting half built on the assembly line. Original completion date was 3/11. That got pushed to 4/1 and then 4/8. I am not expecting a final build until sometime between 4/4-4/8. Of course wouldn't mind if it is earlier. But also nothing preventing more delays.

Probably a silly question but does "fixed in production" mean it is actually in the process of being built or merely that the build slot is locked? I had assumed that these things got built in a day!

Porsche is ready not in a day but in 7-9 days from the first move to the last. Normal life.
If the car is optioned with Exclusive Manufactur item that is not assembled on the assembling line it takes ca. +1 extra week to be completed in the PEM shop.
The assembly line is able to release ca. 200 Taycans a day.

Talked to my dealer a bit today, his understanding was that production is still stopped for Taycans. He also mentioned being at the PECLA later this week and planned to ask a few question there as well. His opinion was that it didn't seem like even Porsche was sure how much things would be impacted at this point.

So I guess just crossing my fingers at this point, knowing that had I not gone with PTS, I might actually have my car right now.

Hello. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, and I sincerely hope I am wrong, however...

I was called by my Porsche sales guy to tell me that they are not sure what the status is of the two Macan's we have on order are because the Leipzig factory closed yesterday due to the Ukraine situation and 'supply chain issues'. They were supposedly in the body shop on the 23rd, which hopefully means they completed production before the closure, but the online Porsche system is not presenting any reliable information.

He also said the Zuffenhausen factory, which is where the Taycan is made, is closing next week and they have not been told for how long at this stage. I have a MY22 GTS (Neptune Blue) on the ship at the moment, which I am getting from this dealer and selling them my MY22 4S CT (which has arrived in Australia) and had ordered an MY23 GTS (Crayon) from them as well. Looks like I may be keeping the MY22 GTS for a while now.
Further to my original post, the dealership called me today to advise the Macan's were back in production and our original ETA on the cars had moved from the 3/6 to 24/6, so a 3 week delay.

I was advised Taycan production was still paused and I have not yet received an allocation for my MY23 GTS.

I just got confirmation that my car went into production last Tuesday (UK order) so seems odd you were advised that - assume one of us is not being told the truth!

Maybe production paused for certain markets, who aren't necessarily being advised by Porsche Germany that not all Taycan production is paused?
(To keep my spirits up, I'm selectively ignoring the possibility that there really is no Taycan production ?)

Thank you.

Could be market dependent. There's so much conflicting information going around. I'd place more stock in what you were told though, as they seem to be pretty clueless down under.

Not worried though. It will happen when it happens. And there's plenty to read and look at on here in the meanwhile.

So, quick update on my Taycan.

I've ordered in November 2021. Delivery to be in the first week of April.

Production started in early February, but... looks like there is a component missing and now my delivery was pushed to (at least) the 13th May! Looks like the car is "half built" somehow.

Oh, this hurts.
