So I've just reviewed the 30ish options on my as-yet-to-be-built vehicle, and have concluded that there's none that I would single out as my favourite...but I will say that the extensive configurability of the Taycan is one of the best features of the Taycan.
One option I'm most disappointed to not be offered, as it would be so easy to provide (and is offered for the 911), is a simple "Taycan" rear badge (gloss black in my case), without any variant specified. I'll get it sorted out on delivery.

So, if there's no single option (between those 30s), what's your configuration looks like?

J - no RAS? And how do you like #4?
Never had ras, completely fine without it. Now having a loaner with no heat protected windows, I miss my Taycan. And summer even haven’t started. Idk maybe taycan witout heat insulated windows is still better than 2022 A6 (my current loanet).

The Taycan RWD has just Taycan on the back. You should be able to order that. And some eyeballing to put it exactly horizontal and in the middel

My top 3 options are:
  • Full leather interior in blackberry with crayon stitching
  • Sport chrono pack
  • Electric sport sound
My least fav option is the burmester sound system. Wouldn't order it again.

That's my current plan (with a professional to take care of the alignment!). I'd originally thought of ordering Taycan Turbo badging and keeping the "Turbo" part in a box for when I come to sell the car...but was advised that the 2 words are joined together (though doesn't look like that to me).

Likes: As others have listed, Mission Wheels. Really makes the car stand out. I was considering going with white exterior or Frozen Blue, but settled with Mamba Green. Lots of positive comments with this color.

Dislikes: Thermal glass. No tinting qualities which I expected. And the thermal glass option seems to mess with my Google navigation. I would have left this option off my extensive list of options.

Favorite: Sport Chrono because I like to be a little teenager and race everyone. I can turn it to sport in 1/2 second.
Don’t need: I haven’t regretted anything yet and I was 30k in options

Why would you want just Taycan and not include the Turbo? Most people want to highlight that part. The ones who ironically want to remove the badging are the ones who get the Taycan.

I think for some people, myself included, the naming of an EV as "Turbo" still doesn't sit right. I fully understand that these names now just refer to a trim level as an effort to keep Porsche's long history of model nomenclature, but I still don't like it. If I were ordering a Turbo or Turbo S, I'd de-badge it too. Plus some people just like keeping things off the radar. I'm even considering de-badging my GTS too when it arrives, or at least removing the GTS leaving taycan or maybe the other way around and remove Taycan and leave it as just GTS.

Any Taycan will attract attention, and some people will hate a Porsche for just being a Porsche as they think they're in a 1980's Class War. I'll just feel a bit more relaxed about leaving it parked in public if it doesn't have the extra badge. Also less likely to set the boy racers off. And I like the idea of letting the car speak for itself when I'm in the mood for G force punishment ?. I do want some rear badge though- in black, for the contrast with the body colour (...and I've even gone mad with illuminated sills...though only the front passenger will notice the "Turbo").
