The Matrix lights on a GTS will be tinted black, so not sure why you’d want to change the rear light bar which is also tinted black to match, and part of the GTS ‘theme’.

Since the order is for a GTS, these glacier blue light options are "free" on the GTS (as a swap to the black light housings)

I actually think it might work well on frozen blue. I've seen it in person on a Neptune blue CT and it looks weird because it's clearly a different shade of blue that screams mismatch. However, it looks pretty good with frozen blue on this YouTube video I've found... (fast forward to 12:23)

Might even add it to my frozen blue GTS build...

It does integrate well on that colour car, I agree.

Oooh. That does look nice actually!

Will I lose the tinted rear light bar by selecting the glacier blue letters?

According to the Configurator:
“Interior trims in Dark Chrome with ‘PORSCHE’ logo in Glacier Iceblue.”

So I was mistaken!

i don't get the option at all...it's not a light bar. Nothing lights up - just the color of the letters that they are charging way too much for offering.

It’s a free option on the GTS In the UK.

At least for the US-spec GTS, it's a "free" option, so it really just comes down to if you like it and if it goes well with your selected paint color.

IMO the blue lettering only works with the purer white body colours.
Although I'm not keen on silver trim on Frozen Blue, I specced my FB CT Turbo with the standard silver lettering after studying real examples of the blue option- which looked a bit cheap- and the black option which looked like a jumbled broken mess.

Interesting.. I'm ordering a FB GTS. The blackened GTS version hides the "Porsche" lettering, IMO. I like the silver in my 4S. My worry is the blue is a bit too 'cute' for a GTS, so I rekon I'll opt out of it. I was going to do the glacier lights and the blue light strip area. I even prefer the mission-e style wheels. However, at that point it stops feeling like a GTS.

Good to hear all your views, especially as this is my first porche :)

I am now swaying towards leaving the glacier blue light strip letters... I get what everyone is saying about the GTS black theme....
