Hi Everyone!
After many hiccups (as happens to many) I finally collected my Mamba 4S CT TODAY. It was due to be ready on Tuesday but an update failed so they contacted Porsche Gmbh who helped push it through so I was able to schedule a couple of days later.
They did a lovely job with the handover and unbeknown to me, also arranged some photos by a new member of staff who enjoys photography and he came in early to take these for me.
The contrast mamba stitching is lovely and I am very pleased with the result.
I ordered mid July 2021 and locked late Jan with a Feb build (delayed again from week 6 to 8) which stalled over the unexpected shutdown in March. The drive hoe was 100 miles and the first person to pass me on the motorway gave me a thumbs up!
It is worth the wait I can tell you. Now I have the weekend to spend playing with all the settings etc. exciting!

Yeah, I see what you mean. The turbo aeros look weird, like they’re missing the solid sections. Are they different on the CT to how they are for the saloon?

Nice. My journey home from there is a bit shorter than yours! Any reason why you chose Mid-Sussex? I’m guessing Guildford and Reading are closer for you, was it simply as case of they gave you the quickest allocation?

Actually it’s because I liked the way the SA dealt with me when I was looking for the 911 convertible I have. Reading didn’t even return my calls and most of the others were less than enthusiastic. The sales guy at Mid Sussex couldn’t do enough, was thorough and detailed in j everything he did. Video calls to show me the car before I visited. So when I came to decide on the Taycan I called them first. I’d rather deal with people who I trust. And like.

well…. You have just made my build more £££ as I have just realised was the stitch option is. Makes it very curated / bespoke which is what the Porsche cost options is all about!
