I can understand trying to eek out maximum mileage on a single charge if the destination is border line whether or not you will make it, however it’s more likely that on a long trip a re charge stop is inevitable or a short trip where it’s not required at all. I have just got back from a 285 mile trip from Liverpool to Bournemouth, knowing full well I won’t do that on a single charge, so planned stop at Porsche Solihull for a 32 minute recharge To 90%. The remaining 152 miles south I drove like I had stolen it and arrived home with 13% remaining, who cares the sun was shining, it was dry and plenty of wanna bees wanting to take me on ?, I just had fun and that’s what this car is about. ?

Perfect. Love it. That 300 mile challenge is one off stuff if heavy traffic means you can’t drive ‘enthusiastically’.
If the road is clear and you needed to stop for a Jimmy Riddle where you could charge then go for it.

I have done return trips.
There in heavy traffic 25kw per 100 miles.
Charged up. Returned late evening empty road 45kw per 100.
Both are fun. Just one more fun than the other!

Hi, I have been running my 4S Cross Turismo for 6 months. The car is truly awesome but I’m disappointed with the mileage from a charge. I was expecting a charge of circa 280 miles and the best I can get to is 220 miles in all differing weather conditions. Once you turn on the air con, heated seats, etc you don’t get anywhere near this.
What’s the general mileage others are getting?
Is this about right or should I be talking to Porsche?
Be great to hear some feedback.
Thanks.

220 miles range @ 85% charge every time I charge it overnight. I have the premium battery and RWD version. I've only had the car a few months and charged only a handful of times. Just one more data point. No complaints.

UK owner of CT 4S PB+ on 20" wheels. My strategy is to drive it like I stole it, arrive at Ionity with less than 30% SoC (lower the better) and charge fast at 260kW to achieve the quickest overall journey time on longer trips. I have free chargers at work so also enjoy proper Porsche driving on my commute.

Smooth acceleration is the key ?? also use the regn NOT auto regen

Agree about acceleration, but based on my experiences, regen doesn;t provide some significant energy savings… coasting is more important.

I have 12,700 miles on my 2021 Taycan RWD. I took a trip to Cape Hatteras this weekend from Raleigh. Only one DCFC in this part of the NC OBX and I got stuck waiting for an e-tron that was charging up to 100%. I was in a rush so I only charged to 85%. I then went to the Wright Brothers Museum before heading back to Raleigh. I drove for 208 miles to an EA charger in Rocky Mount and still had 20 miles of range showing. I have the standard battery and this equates to 268 miles had I charged it to 100%. It was a 350 kWh charger and I was able to go from 9% to 60% in 10 minutes to finish my trip.
