My dealer will reopen on Monday, April 20th for service and touchless delivery for sales. They will need to take care of the prep and paperwork during the week including getting the car registered in Georgia. We are targeting Friday, April 24th for delivery.
Such good news! Delivery.. cool, thought about that. But gonna hit the road. I know you have been waiting awhile because I have, close to the end. My first car was a 68 mustang, if you went over 70 mph the hood would fly up, fun times, what a change and interesting times.

I guess things are starting to move on deliveries. Here is the message I received from my agent in Richmond.

"They completed the PDI, so it moved up to next status. They will be releasing it to transport shortly, and I am hoping to see it much sooner than May 1."

Can't wait!! Bob

Richmond, VA dealer informed me today that my Taycan will be at their dealership by end of the week. I should be able to take delivery by middle of next week.

Yes Germany is now open. Apparently they are pushing the auto industry to move cars ASAP!
Based on what I can tell, the port has remained open, but Porsche is not. Do you have a source that says otherwise? Per Bob Hood's post below, if he is getting his car next week, it was likely shipped before the shutdown.

PCNA told me today that the factories are slowly reopening. My 4S was in process at the time of shutdown , completed yesterday, and is scheduled to ship in May. But since it actually completed yesterday, I expect it is accurate that the factory is open.

Good news. For reasons I can't quite figure out, my car has been in Emden since last month. The dealer thinks this has to do with factory closures, and I'm not sure that make sense.

maybe there aren't enough cars to load up a ship? or they don't have the staff working to do whatever is necessary for the shipping process.
Looking at the shipping schedule, there does not seem to be any update since week 10.

The car will be delivered tomorrow. The dealership in Memphis is really great. Handled everything by phone, and mailed me the paperwork. They are picking up
They will drop my car off tomorrow and pickup my car (trade in)
