No email for me but having read that you can check in the myporsche app I have just discovered my 4S ST is at step 3 (scheduled for production) of 5.

No idea how long it takes to get to the next steps but exciting to see progress!
I have been on stage 3 for the past 6 weeks or so but my sales rep said I should have my car buit next month.
I hope to get it around July as I want to enjoy the car in the summer while it lasts in the UK.

Seems like ours are on a similar timeline as according to the dates on the myporsche site mine has been on step 3 since 16th April. I found out earlier today that the sales rep I had been dealing with has left so have a conversation scheduled with the new one on Wednesday..hopefully then I can also get more info on when to expect delivery.

Having it for summer would be great, but I’ll personally not mind if it’s delayed until the new registrations come out in September (even though a private reg is going on it!)

What Is the spec on your ST? You did well to jump on the ST when you did. Hatfield and other dealers are telling me most likely Q2/3 next year now and CT Q3/4

Yes I’m on stage 3 since April 16 as well. My salpes rep emails me at the start of each month since I ordered in Feb so touch wood it will be built as scheduled but like you I can still wait a few extra months if need be.

Here is the code for my Porsche 4S ST - PNSZBUW4.

I orderd mine at Hatfield but I think I got a bit lucky as I was originally going to place an order for a CT with around 1 year waiting time but by pure chance my sales rep said the ST was just released and the waiting time would be halved.

Nice spec! It will be interesting to see what the real life range is with the standard battery

Question answered........ OPC just confirmed that I also have a build slot of around end Nov-Early December. spec freeze at end August. If that happens - (and I know there is many a slip between cup and lip) - it would be perfect since my present PCP ends at end Nov. Serendipity. :)

Thanks T - Perhaps the next tranche of (MY23) allocations have just been announced to UK OPCs? FYI I am with Exeter.

There are no details (yet?) on My Porsche (very helpful) - when you pick on order details there - it just says we will try to progress soon - no spec, model, reference number or anything concrete - perhaps that will change...

I am awaiting a response from my OPC to clarify situation - will update if I learn anything worth repeating - can U please do the same?

Thanks
My order is with Exeter and I got the email this week also. Must just be working through them as latest update for my ST is Q2 23 ?‍♂

What date did your order go in? Did the email give you a build date / delivery date?

The email didn't mention anything other than they had now received my order (7 months after I signed it) -It just added the start of the process in My Porsche - in the form 'Phase 1 order received'.

So, I emailed OPC and asked what it all meant.... they phoned this evening to confirm the build slot end Nov.

Order went in October 21 - with a tentative Q1 2023 delivery estimate (at that time) - I specified it must be delivery after October 2022 (my present PCP ends end November).

.........Then in January, they said I could have a build in July 22! I was tempted, but asked it to be put back as originally requested. Anyways now it works out perfectly for my PCP hand-over.

Cheers.

Thanks that is very helpful. I'm about to order a CT 4S and ideally would like a MY 2024 so Aug 23 build or later. The dealer said I could decline a build slot if it came too early and take their next one as you are doing. I would not mind a much earlier build but didn't want a say July build just before the new model year unless I could be sure the spec changes are minimal. Some speculate that 24 might be the facelift year. I can't see their being any significant changes to the appearance but great if they tweak the range a bit

FWIW, I think the lack of changes between MY22 and MY23 is caused by the backlog - minimum downtime required. This also (to me at least) signals there could well be a facelift for MY24 - since they could incorporate MY23 changes not implemented plus some upgrades for MY24 to make a step-change. Just a pure guess - but there is a kind of logic in there somewhere. I hope it works out for you.

There will be plenty of news leaks before a facelift - so you should get a good heads-up in good time before your delivery

But you won't do badly in any case - residuals are so strong - you can probably trade-in after a year or so with little losses - hope that continues for a couple of years - and I may jump again.

good luck

Thanks, appreciate it is all speculation but there is some good logic in your reasoning. Yes I'm sure we will get to hear the leaks early next year so if I get offered an earlier build date I will have enough information to make an informed decision. My dealer estimates build could be March/April 23 based on the allocations he is getting through now but says that with a big health warning. I've also spoken to 3 PRG outlets 2 say Q3 delivery and Reading saying Q4 so anyone's guess ?
