My original Porsche tags were frequently not being detected as present and I would be constantly called by the vehicle alarm company. Porsche Swindon replaced them and recoded the new ones to the car. Since then every time I enter or exit various stores (eg B&Q, Sainsburys, White Company and more) it triggers the shoplifting alarms, which is embarrassing, tedious and time consuming. Who wants their bags searched and receipts checked constantly.
Porsche Swindon are claiming that their tags work at 400 Ghz and through the power of Google, claim that shops work at 8Mhz, therefore it's not their problem! They refused to recode the tags or replace them. Has anyone had a similar issue? This is having a huge impact on my ability to shoplift ;)

Are you sure its the tracker fob and not something else you carry?

Try carrying your fob in isolation through the scanner and nothing else.

Never heard of that issue or experienced it with either Taycan or Panamera tracker fob.

I have had to hand the store security guard my wallet which has the fob inside to retrigger the alarm, to prove my innocence

Yep but have you tried the fob on its own as the issue may be your wallet or something else inside it?
