I should add this to the other post but had my Porsche spare wheel tire mounted and wanted to show those interested as to how large it is in the trunk - you can actually stand it up straight but not sure I'd recommend that option given the significantly reduced rear visibility - nonetheless, you can do it and the tire is not touching the roof glass - of course if you are traveling two up only, you can fold down your rear seats and still have a massive amount of available luggage space.

Showing shots of it in there with tray on and off - also low angle shot to show how much space still available above when when laid flat.

The pic of my hidden rear compartment just shows how much stuff easily fits in there - I have my mobile charger, the full car jack with wrenches in the black cloth bag, a bunch of other bits and pieces including my TeslaTap Mini, Adams spray wax, clothes etc. All hidden once cover on.

Just for grins, stood it up straight - NOT touching roof glass and actually the roof line stops the wheel from hitting rear glass if unsecured (which of course you would do anyway!) - now obviously not recommended given rear view obstruction but in a pic if needed can do:

Ha - def profile matched! Ordered mine from Suncoast in June 2021 right after ordering the car!! Didn't get to put in in there til the following Dec

Prob just leave it with jack in there - not much point having it if I get a flat, even locally, and it’s sitting at home .

Had the same ‘internal discussion’ when I had equivalent in the M4 and simply just did not notice it as 90+% of the time I don’t need all the space back there. Weight not an issue either.

Oh yes, of course - there are as you know multiple restraining hook options back there and most def needs to be secure.

For fun, sharing a couple of comparo's between the look of the car with OEM finishes (textured plastic etc) during PDI at the dealership (totally unfair as layered with dust and dirt!) and the current state with all the custom painted bits and somewhat cleaner! Apologies again for 'bubble-butt' rear view iPhone effect - have been prepping for our overseas trip and no time as yet to get proper SLR pics.

Note also the deetion of the 'Money Butt' plate holder and 'plastic welded' custom finish. I've actually since raised the plate position a 1/2" as I had it before which fully exposes the lines of the gloss black diffuser:

Looking good. Better than the original. You should contact Porsche design and show them how it should be have been done.

quick additional question -- do you happen to have the part numbers for the Cross Turismo white sidemarkers? my parts counter is having a hard time finding the specific CT versions.

I ordered through SRM who is a sponsor on this site. They got me the right ones for the CT.

Just back from long trip and catching up - believe I posted these somewhere but if you fire an e-mail to Suncoast as suggested with your VIN (they request to ensure proper lookup) they’ll get the numbers to you very quickly. I’ll try to locate them here also later.
