Charge port door fault- annoying !

Has anyone else had this fault? Nothing wrong with the cover as far as I can see and annoyingly because the car thinks it's open, it locks up the other port cover and it won't open. Annoying !

Nope. I've had the impaired message normally when DC charging and I forget to check the bottom flap has sprung back before the port door closes (if not the door auto opens when it hits the obstruction) Error clears.

Yes_ left side was open , said my car. But it was not.

Believe it or not.. me either ! It's the manual ones on mine , lol
Could be the spring latch is not fully retracted. Try pushing the latch manually to ensure its properly closed.

Could be dirt causing an obstruction.

A squirt of WD-40 might help.
