My last sync was 29 June. I have never had a connection issue before. Both apps work fine with our Macan. Have deleted the account from the car and cannot reload it. Now the subject of a ’ticket’ with the German technicians. Other LTE functions ie Google mapping Imagery works fine.
12v battery disconnect time?

I lost my emergency SOS call ability and a constant warning came up since 5th July. Car is booked in but it cleared itself yesterday.

I have the same problem, the App has been unable to connect to the car since being serviced last week.

Just spoken to Connect support in the UK who tell me that there are “quite a few” people reporting similar problems to ours.
The Porsche techs in Germany are aware of it and looking to find a solution but they don’t know when that will be.
In the meantime they are paying for a secondary tracker to be fitted to my car so it’s insured ( my insurance requires a working tracker… I think I’m going to change that next year?) and so I can drive it. I can then have it removed if I want once the PCM becomes active again.
I have the standard PVTS tracker by Vodafone, is this system compromised by the connection issue?

No it shouldn't but call the Vodafone SOC and ask them to confirm they have contact with the Tracker and when that last was.

Mine went offline 2 weeks after delivery for around 10 days and it took my Porsche Centre half a day to re pair the tracker fobs ( normally 30 mins tops).

12v battery disconnect time?
This week the car has been with the OPC for 4 recall matters and to re-activate the HUD which stopped working. The fix for the HUD involved disconnecting the 12v battery so ….. been there done it already. They were unable to get it working and suggested de-activating the account which did not resolve the issue which was when I deleted the account from the car. It seems to be a server issue potentially. Thanks anyway for the suggestion.

Yes. Vodaphone reported an “Unexpected Error”
Might be worth checking.

It has nothing to do with the car apparently, it’s the backend server, so 12v disconnection won’t work.
Privacy mode gets enabled if you have deleted your account so you have to disable that if you are logged as a guest.
They cancelled my Vodaphone tracker and then a couple of hours later made me buy it again and it seems to be working.
My car is still at the OPC so I can’t input my ID until Monday, so I can’t be sure they have been successful.
Ho hum.

Privacy mode can also be enabled during maintenance at the dealership to prevent remote fiddling.

I had a similar connection problem starting early this week. I tried the thing above apart from disconnecting the 12V battery. Read about it last night - then it sorted itself

The Connect support guy told me late Friday pm that they had migrated the data to another server a week previously but had discovered that some cars had failed to go over correctly. He didn’t give me much more info. Maybe they have fixed it. Let’s hope so.

How many times have these clowns "migrated" servers - this is an old excuse coming back around!

Mine is also working again, I did not do anything so they must have fixed at the server.

can you guys do me a favour: and check the date of the last synchronization of PCM with the backend?
Porsche Taycan [SOLVED 09.07.2022, Europe] Porsche Connect Network Problems [3rd UPDATE!] 1657440274814

you find this info slightly hidden in the accounts menu:
Porsche Taycan [SOLVED 09.07.2022, Europe] Porsche Connect Network Problems [3rd UPDATE!] 1657440398837

then you need to scroll down to see the timestamp.

my last sync is out dated and showing the days of backend migration.
What date is your cars show? pls only date and MY, no pic :)

Mine shows 02.06.2022 09.30.
MY2020

But surely that is wrong since I have much more recent info on MyPorsche account. Trips and charge levels etc.
