3. I have a 2020 4s and if this update fixes all my tech bugs and increases range, then like DerekS said, "all will be forgiven".

And that is the real reason - there are way too many complaints about the bugs - which tarnishes the brand!

They must have some kind of system to update all 75.000 taycans on the road. I haven’t heard anything yet but mine is from March and has the colored icons. And the 22 kW charger software was also update before delivery according to my dealer. I think changes will be minor for me. But I still like to have them.

Waiting for this update impatiently. This probably must be applied to my Taycan which is probably already build (body shop 27 june). According to the dealer who called the factory it is on "Quality check" as other four cars from this dealership. Car doesn't have V300 status. After so many delays - components shortage, war and now this - I can't wait.

Booked service with drop off today for the recall and to request software updates for my 2020 Turbo. Seems I may be too early, but I’ll try to get info out of them!

also skip the 22kw upgrade. It’s worthless- Unless you have more than 50 amps of supply in your home.

as for the retrofit cost, I’d be extremely cautious. I inquired about the retrofit of the Sport Sound and it’s $700 in parts and $3200 in labor.

Never book online. Call the Porsche center and talk to them directly. It seems not everyone is getting it at the same time. It varies a lot.

Oh I have that already…it’s in my pcm settings anyhow but here in NA we have to use the Charging app to unlock the free EA benefit so idk - haven’t really cared to try it out.

This is not true for me. I have used Plug and Charge since I got my car, and I have the included EA charging. I never get charged.
