I bought a leather valet tray and fitted under the center console empty area. Fit perfectly so I can place my sunglasses and lose items there now. Also made a video about it. ??

There was a free option on the configuration called storage

Mine doesn't look like that! I've never seen centre consul like that. I ordered mine with the storage option. I presumed it was little cubby holes in the boot (trunk) etc. This is mine which I presumed was stock.

14 Months??? Are you still waiting?? I ordered it on April and got it in July. ?‍

Really it should be stock on every car I'd say! Becomes a pointless unusable area without it. Cool you've found a solution that works for you.

No not now it arrived last Wednesday. But yes it took 14 months to get here. That's not that unusual now so you've done amazing only waiting 3 months.

So, I was looking into this after stumbling across this thread, and it seems that someone from Porsche must have been listening, because my MY2022 has a built-in tray.

It was an option for you. I have 2022 Taycan also. It’s $280 separately but it might be included in a bigger option packages. I didn’t have it so I had to come up with the solution. ??
