Just got the latest snapshot from SA - exactly what TYD is
If it left Benicia in mid-December then it probably got stuck at the Dealership (PDI/updates/PPF/etc) for a while and I'll probably have to take delivery in January since we will be out of town over Xmas...

Feels like all the stars have to align for me to take delivery this year :CWL:

Deposit placed for Taycan GTS 3/18/22
Change freeze point reached 9/21/22 (actual)
Scheduled for production 10/5/22 (actual)
Start production 10/21 (estimated)
Production completed 10/28 (estimated)
Arrival Emden port 10/28 (estimated)
Entry Port Baltimore, MD 11/18 (estimated)
Arrival at my Porsche dealer in Chicago 11/25/22 (estimated)
Looks like we're on the same schedule - my "scheduled for production" went "actual" on 10/5, with production from 10/21 through 10/28. Mine is bound for the West Coast, so expected delivery to the dealer on 12/2. I'll keep watching your progress (reports).

Seems too optimistic to me, especially after seeing everyone else’s posts about how their orders have progressed. So I‘m preparing myself emotionally to take delivery in the Spring of 2023 :)
It is optimistic, but I really hope you're wrong about Spring '23. ?

It seems the way Porsche is handling the 12v battery shortage by giving supply priority to the production line over the built Taycans held at port, could result in some 2023 models being delivered to their owners before the held-up 2022 models are delivered. That just seems silly.

I saw someone mention this in another thread and I still don’t see data points to back this up. Did I miss something new? I don’t think we’ve seen a car (yet) that has been delivered that has had a later completion date to that of a car that has not yet been delivered.

Attaching status from my SA.

I got an allocation which just froze this past week. The freeze date moved out a couple of times, but then the build froze a few days before the last date they moved it to. No problem for me since I've been waiting for an allocation for over a year, so know exactly what I want, but perhaps a warning to others - if your freeze date moves out and you're still thinking about changes, don't wait till the last minute. Then again, nowadays I'd recommend having your build ready ahead of getting an allocation since changes can push back production dates, or so I heard.

My build has an estimated arrival at dealer on the east coast mid December. Production mid-November. Dealer seems very confident the car will get there in December. I see cars here built months ago still in transit, does Porsche do end of quarter pushes like Tesla? Or do they only ship a few times a year so all production queues up at the port? Or is this going to be a special tidal wave of Taycans unleashed by some massive delivery of 12V batteries? Or are my chances of getting the car this year slim to none?

I think it’s going to be a tidal wave of released cars. Considering cars from mid July completion dates are supposed to be delivered around the beginning of December, I have a 0% probability that you will get your car before the end of the year.

I have the same timeline as you. Froze this week, start production on Nov 11, Production complete 11/18, on vessel 11/25, at dealership in Houston on 12/18. Dealer says it's likely that schedule holds now that batteries are moving but judging by the comments on this site it seems unlikely.

Joining this thread as well. Build completed 8/26. Pushed back delivery to 12/2. East coast. I’m not very optimistic. Delivery date has been pushed back now 4 months since original planned time. Like a lot of other members likely waiting for a battery. Just upsetting that some cars completed in September and beyond possibly getting on ships and delivered to customers before the cars that finished build in the summer time. Very very frustrating

Quick question to those who got their status from SA, are the dates with the V statuses match up with dates what TYD is reporting?

Apparently our Taycans are scheduled to be built in the same run in November. Mine is scheduled to land in Jacksonville, FL on 12/9, perhaps the first stop of the same vessel.

We haven’t seen this happen once yet. No confirmed deliveries of cars that haven’t been FIFO. TYD has standard dates it seems and they’re just going to keep pushing all deliveries back in batches as they get closer. They’ve been doing it all of 2022.

Just FY for those relying on TYD....I spoke with the executive office for Porsche US Cust. Svc. this week. They told me to ignore the TYD as it's simply not accurate. There are cars that completed build in early to mid July that still don't have batteries and there is no set date for when they will receive a battery. My build was completed mid July and showed it arrived at Emden Port on 9/23. On 9/25 I asked my dealer if it was really at Emden Port and did that mean the battery has been installed. They said yes. I was somewhat excited to see after several delays I was now closer to getting it. After my conversation this week with US Cust. Svc. they confirmed this wasn't true. They said my car was not at Emden Port and it was still awaiting a battery with no ETA in sight. I asked if batteries are being installed based on build date. The only answer they gave me was that
a process is in place". If you're talking with your dealership from where you ordered, unfortunately they have no more current info then what we see on TYD (which is not accurate).

Can’t say I’m surprised by this news but still very disappointing. Porsche will obviously be delivering completed cars to dealers this fall. Why no definitive plan on installing batteries on cars that were completed this past summer. We will start seeing forum members with cars entering production Sept and later start Getting their cars for delivery before others with cars completed July/August…so frustrating
