Ordered mine in Nov 21, changed to 4s ST in March 22 as I was told it would be delivered in June, updated by Porsche in June that the war was causing delays but it would be delivered in August. That was pushed back to September but then informed the car was built in July but had no 12v battery. Since then had very little info other than it would be delivered in November, latest is it still doesn’t have a battery but should be delivered in December. What a mess. I can see it ending up a my23 registration!

Haha yes me too! It‘s been a long extended marathon wingeathon…all over in the next week. Fingers crossed thats the end of it and the car doesn’t have any gremlins.

Great News!!
So I ordered my Cross Turismo 4S back in Aug 2021 and it’s now at the dealer being pdi’d and I can hopefully collect it on Tuesday!! Love the CT gloss black wheels and of course Mamba Green.
the delays have been a real pain but I’m so excited!!

On the one hand, I was hearing at least 12 months from several dealerships when I ordered a 4S CT (originally) last November. But it would have seemed reasonable to expect your March order for a stated June delivery to be fairly reliable.

I was quoted 12-14 months at my dealer, and then the guy who got the turbo s march allocation backed out, so I jumped on that. It's going to be a painful 3-4 months.

It seems a lot of people are backing out of allocations as the financing options are completely devoid if reason at 10%+ interest rates.

Most people are too young to remember high interest rates and the habit of "buying" a car using monthly payments is well ingrained.

I wasn't living in the UK at the time, but I do remember the almost 19% interest rates in Australia at the time. The time of the so called 'banana republic' - feels like Britain today!! ?
