    Another Heater !

Recall for mine (MY23 CT4S). Nothing wrong with the current heater, but needs swapped out for a newer version apparently. Booked it in for next month alongside getting the winter wheels put on.

My passenger heater warranty will be extended to 6 years (per Porsche NA notice letter)

I was at my dealer last Wednesday to book the car in for winter wheels to be put on in November. Normally, I just wait while they do it but the Service Manager stated they’d like to hold onto the car for two days. They are going to replace the heater once again as there is now another updated...

    WRS0 software available

Download was completed today however, after returning to the car and starting it up, I’ve lost my phone connection and Spotify/Apple Music/Carplay with it. Tried to get it to reconnect without success. Porsche and software. Dull. Hey ho. Anyway, it’s a beautiful sunny day here in Norn Iron (we...

    12V Battery Strategy

I regularly work away from home for up to 6-8 weeks at a time. Car is left in the garage connected to the EVSE, and the 12v connected to a CTEK. No problems except for the one time I forgot to connect the CTEK, and needed to call Porsche Assistance…….. It seems everyone has different experiences.

Charge to 85% - What on earth is going on!!!

Apologies in advance if you’ve already discounted this. The following are my current settings for charging - Profile and Timer. I’ve been using this since the car was delivered and it charges to 85% by 0700 each day: This has worked for almost two years of ownership. If the above settings...

Pump vs Tire Gauge vs TPMS

A regular check with a quality/accurate pressure gauge is what I opt for. TPMS has never been accurate in any of my cars and the only real benefit is to warn of pressure loss in my opinion.

    Uninstall Plug & Charge Certificate

Quick update. Charging issue appears to be unconnected to Plug & Charge Certificate. I went to the car and disconnected the lead as well as resetting the Zappi EVSE and was able to start charging using DC. I’ll get the car charged to where I need it today and then wait to see if the Profile...

    Uninstall Plug & Charge Certificate

Same here. Woke up this morning and car has failed to charge. Little red dot also appeared linked to plug and charge certificate issue. Not sure if they are connected or just a coincidence, but here we go again. Tiresome Porsche, very tiresome.

    Connected Services inactive

Tried the delete account option and it didn’t work. Thanks for the suggestion though ?. I’ll not bother with the reset and will just ride this one out. Hopefully, the ‘specialists’ at the back end will get their act together shortly.

Same issue here. First noticed on Tuesday and I decided to leave it for a day or so to see if it sorted itself out. It hasn’t, so I called Connect Services who confirmed there is an outage which is currently being worked on. No suggestion to try reset etc. He did state he had received...

    Recommended insurers UK

I had a similar ‘not interested’ message from Churchill. Looked around and couldn’t find anything under £2,500 including Saga. Admiral then came up trumps with £860 when I tagged onto the family’s multi-car policy. I’ve just turned 60, full NCB and no points etc and paid just under £500 for the...
