No, this doesn’t work. I set only the profile to 85% and it just keeps going all the way to 100% (Porsche call it a ‘minimum charge’ not a maximum for a reason it seems).If you always want the car to charge to 85%, only use the general profile with minimum set to 85%, not timers. If you want to preheat the car on a timer, uncheck the charging part on the timer, use it just to preheat. Only use the timer for charging if you want to go above 85%.
PS> The UX of this is very poor. I speculate it was never actually designed. Some engineer was handed the ISO15118 spec and they just implemented UI based on that spec, without any consideration of usability.
I’m starting to think some of us may be having different experiences to others and maybe that’s why this question keeps popping up.
Every month or so someone opens a thread like this saying it’s not working and someone who it does work for pops up saying ‘why are we taking about this again, it’s easy, you just do x’ - but x clearly works for some people but not others!
